The Safety Letterbox Company successfully installed an intelligent parcel box solution in five sites Mulberry Homes. The high-end developer is looking to futureproof their developments by lowering the carbon emissions to net zero by 2050. The collaboration between SLB and Mulberry homes is ongoing and huge step for residential housing.

Mulberry property Developments is a privately owned company that was established in 2004. Based in the Northamptonshire countryside, Mulberry builds both commercial and residential property across the midlands. With over 150 year of experience, the level of craftmanship that comes from Mulberry is luxurious and high quality.

Having recognized a need to futureproof their development, Mulberry homes were looking for additional suppliers to provide products that were in line with their plan to lower carbon emissions. They wanted to provide a parcelbox solution to their residents as it helps lower carbon emissions while offering a convenient and secure facility for the new homeowners.

The intelligent parcelbox system that was provided brings peace of mind to the residents of Mulberry Homes as deliveries can be successful regardless of if they are home or not. It stops delivery drivers from searching through estates to deliver parcels as they all run through one system at the front of these estates.

Both Great Bowden and Lower Stondon opted for the Modula system, this system can be added to over time to anticipate the increase in parcel delivery.

The parcelbox solutions come with a myRENZbox mobile app, that can be used by the residents to manage and track their deliveries. It allows for a streamlined parcel solution in one centralised location. Both systems are situated outside in a purpose-built area by the entrance of the developments for ease of access and convenient drop off and pick up.

The product supplied was also in line with company branding and powder coated in Mulberry’s signature green colour and finished with a gold vinyl logo to complete the look. This striking addition not only looks aesthetically pleasing but will help create an efficient system for both delivery drivers and residents within the housing developments.
