DDA Compliance

As a manufacturer of mail and parcel boxes since 1986, we have produced almost every configuration of product that is imaginable. We have occasionally worked with clients who have requested a large amount of mail or parcel boxes in a small area, and have requested that these start at the finished floor level and extend to a height that is unreasonable for users to operate the products at. On these occasion boxes within the bank at the required level can be used for DDA requirements. It is important to situate mail or parcel boxes at a level that is comfortable.

myRENZbox intelligent parcel box systems feature display screen units that the recipient / courier / management staff etc. use to both deliver and retrieve items from a product.

myRENZbox have designed and developed the mobile phone application to offer the same functionality as shown on the display screen unit, thus removing the need to interact with the screen and minimising any possible DDA issues.

There is functionality built in to the myRENZbox backend system that will allow only certain boxes / rows of lockers to be accessible for specific users. This functionality can be allocated to any end-user of the system and ensure that all parcels delivered can be retrieved from a comfortable height.

1. Reserved boxes at a height of 500mm from the finished floor level to the bottom of the lowest parcel box locker

and

2. A height of 1750mm from finished floor level to the top of the highest parcel box locker*
